Magazine Cover!

The magazine cover above is our final film magazine cover design. It is a very important part of our ancillary text which we created in order to market and advertise our film product. Overall our group is pleased with the magazine design and is happy with how it turned out. The title of our magazine is ‘FRONT ROW’ which clearly relates to a cinema or movie theatre making it an ideal name for a movie magazine. Due to this issue advertising our film ‘HOUSEBOUND’ I thought the title of the magazine should relate to the theme of the cover. To achieve this I added a greeny white glow to the titles lettering which gave it a sort of paranormal or haunted kind of feel. For the main image of our magazine, we used the same image as we did in the poster. The image is a film still from our filming and is of a distorted bloody mask with a knife. Due to both having the same image it acts as a motif for our film. We included images from the film trailer on the magazine making our magazine exclusive and also teasing the audience. All the text used around the main image are all completely relevant to the film industry. The text also lets the audience understand what content is inside the magazine.
